The tender for “Prime Ministry - National Archives Complex†under the supervision of Housing Development Administration of Turkey has been awarded to Siyahkalem.
Upon signing of the contract on the date of November 4th, 2009; Siyahkalem has immediately initiated the works for the project.
The project is mainly composed of the construction of archieve units, administrative offices, a conventional center, a museum, exhibition halls, guest houses, closed parking areas and complementary infrastructure & landscaping works.
With a total built up area of 122,000 m2; the construction will be based on an area of 28,500 m2 over a 9 ha land. The excavation works for a volume of approximately 400,000 m3 will be carried out simultaneously with the ground improvement activities. Siyahkalem crew has already commenced their intensive studies for the completion of this prestigious project on the date of 13.08.2012 which falls three months before the issued completion date at the end of a construction period of 1,100 days.
