With medical waste treatment facilities established in 8 provinces throughout Turkey, it has a total capacity of 73,220 tons of medical waste processing per year.
ERA Environmental Technologies, a subsidiary of Siyahkalem, carries out the recycling of end-of-life tires and energy production with its facility established in Erzincan. In the facility, waste tires are converted into pyrolytic oil, gas and carbon black; the pyrolytic oil obtained is utilized in electricity generation. The facility, which has an installed capacity of 14 MW, contributes to the conversion of waste into energy and raw materials with a circular economy approach.
SEKAY is an integrated waste management system for collection, transport, recovery and disposal of solid waste in Sakarya. The facility, with 750,000 tons/year capacity, is one of Turkey's largest waste-to-energy projects.
Within the project, waste is sorted and recyclable materials are recovered, organic waste is composted, and the remaining waste is used for energy production.
